On the public contact page, visitors may optionally check this consent box before submitting:

2. Text-to-join call to action

Consumers can opt in by texting LayerLane first. Public CTA:

3. Verbal consent script

When someone calls LayerLane and SMS would help, staff or the system reads this script and only texts after an affirmative yes:

“Can I text you transactional updates about this LayerLane inquiry or project — things like scheduling and status? Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out. Do you agree?”

After yes, LayerLane sends a confirmation SMS. After no, no program texts are sent.
