Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and use LayerLane only for lawful purposes. You may not abuse, reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or use the service to send spam or illegal communications.

Client projects may also be governed by an order summary, subscription terms, or other written agreement. If those conflict with this page on project-specific commercial terms, the signed order or agreement controls for that engagement.

These SMS Terms apply to text messages sent by LayerLane (the registered brand) from LayerLane phone numbers, including transactional messages for home-service dispatch, booking confirmations, ETAs, status updates, technician job briefs, and related customer-care SMS.

• Consent: You opt in by calling or texting a LayerLane number for service help and agreeing to receive SMS updates, or by otherwise providing a mobile number and consent for transactional dispatch messages.
• Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your service request, booking activity, and job status.
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
• Help: Reply HELP for help, or email contact@layerlane.studio.
• Opt out: Reply STOP to cancel. You may receive a final confirmation of opt-out. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS from that program unless you opt in again.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Supported carriers: Major U.S. wireless carriers are supported; availability may vary by carrier.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for materials you upload or provide. You grant LayerLane a limited license to host and process that content as needed to provide the service. Fees, renewals, and cancellations follow the applicable order summary or pricing terms.

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. LayerLane does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, carrier SMS delivery, or outcomes that depend on third parties. To the maximum extent allowed by law, LayerLane’s liability for claims arising from these Terms of Service is limited to the amounts you paid LayerLane for the service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms of Service by posting a revised version on this page and updating the effective date. Material SMS program changes may also be disclosed in program messages where required.
